After a very long day on a very hard pew (not the most comfortable thing on a bruised tail bone) I was examined and approved by Central Florida Presbytery.

So, come January 13th, I start at Westminster-by-the-Sea in Daytona Beach Shores. The 20th will be my ordination.

Wheeee!!

Just got the call from Jeff. Not only did they vote me in, they voted me in unanimously!!! Given that I'm female, their first Associate Pastor, and going to cost them far more than their old parish associates, I'm amazed that it was unanimous.

So this is me happy and bouncy for awhile. Eeeee!!!

Florida likes me so much that they are flying Dave and I down for a face-to-face interview at the end of the month. I can't wait. I really like this church: its active, growing and has a lot of social justice programs. It would just be so good in so many ways. So here's hoping ( Read more... )
